Lakeside Lighting Inspiration

We adore these lighting features for a lakeside home that add a natural rustic flair along with charm and sophistication. We can envision a bird walking along the sand on shells (Regatta Pendant for the kitchen), flying to a nearby tree (Treetop Chandelier for the dining room) and lastly entering into her bark-topped house to feed her newly hatched nestlings (Bellamy Lantern for the front entry) ... can you ??

Regatta Pendant features natural material, Capiz Shell, used in combination with wrought iron and finished in Cupertino.

Bellamy Lantern boasts a simplistic shape that is accented with the subtle detailing of its "roof" treatment and stylized fleur de lis.

Intricate hand forging on a hollow iron rod is work that requires great iron working skill and is stunningly portrayed with the TreeTop Chandelier.

Dining Room Inspiration: Get The Hannah Look

One of our favorite designers, Amanda Carol, designed this dining room using a larger version of the Hannah Chandelier. The look of an old Swedish classic is translated into a dining room for today.

The delicate arms of wrought iron of the Hannah Chandelier are accompanied by a shaft of carved wood and slender wooden drops. The wood is finished in Stockholm White and contrasts nicely with the wrought iron finish of a rich Rust color. Available in four sizes.

The Trestle 9 Ft Dining Table features carved legs that enhance the simple farmhouse style and its natural finish lends a rustic touch to a dining room.

The Louis XVI Chair boasts a traditional oval back chair that lends elegance to a dining room. It would offer a simplistic yet elegant feeling to any dining room.

Angular, sleek and versatile, the Nailhead Armless Dining Chair has an unusual shape inspired by the traditional wingback.

Outdoor Inspiration with Low Maintenance Pea Gravel

Now that spring has finally sprung, we love the idea of using pea gravel in low maintenance landscape design. Often seen embedded into concrete, pea gravel consists of small, rounded stones of different colors and pea sizes. Besides their earthy beauty, pea gravel patios boast several other features: Cost (less expensive than other materials and lends itself to a do-it-yourself project), Drainage (helps prevent erosion since water soaks right through into the ground) and Maintenance (with an occasional need to rake the stone back into place, it is fairly easy to maintain). Here are our favorites:
