Inspirations: A Touch of Green

So exciting is the sight of fresh green buds poking through the snow in spring -- nature's finest signal that winter's long spell is over. We have a unique relationship with the color green: our eyes can detect more shades of green than any other color, which may be why we use it so much in our homes.

Ceramic vessels offer many shades of green from the unexpected resulting from uneven applications to the pure green. Whatever the result, these vessels are fabulous!

Just love the use of vintage green in this bedroom featured in Dreamy Whites.

The bamboo geometric needlepoint rug harmonizes all the whites, greens and yellows in the fabrics, furniture and walls.

Painting simple paper shades and finishing with green grosgrain ribbon pulls everything together.

Araucana Sage makes a stylish understatement on these living room walls.

Embellished edges and small streaks of contrasting color give a room weight when the palette is soft shades of ivy, sage, and grass green.
