TOMORROW'S CLASSICS: Maison Collection

"It was love at first sight" for both Tara Shaw and Coach Barn. For Tara Shaw, it was the antique bookcase found in a French flea market which became not only the cornerstone of her office but the prototype for Tara Shaw Maison. For Coach Barn, it was seeing this beautiful line of reproduction furniture and accessories. With detailed carvings, hand-rubbed paint finishes and selective distressing, the line is comprised of over sixty pieces, ranging in style from Swedish country to Directoire. An Italian Lantern resembles a fixture purchased for Shaw's own foyer (see photo above). A Swedish Rococo Bench and Swedish Lyre Clock recreate the same distressed finish and color of the originals (see photo above). Based on seventeenth-, eighteenth-, and nineteenth-century designs, the pieces in the Maison Collection offer the promise of becoming "new classics."

ABOVE: The Maison Collection recreates the Swedish Banquette, Shelter Loveseat and Wooden Plaque Fragment.

ABOVE: An Italian Table features a mirrored top and hand-carved legs is meticulously recreated to enjoy the same looks as the antiques from her private collection.
See the entire Maison Collection to bring reproduction pieces into your home inspired from France, Italy and Sweden!
